Hi, I’m Lisa — the owner and face behind Dogs Matter Gold Coast.
Dogs Matter Gold Coast was created from a genuine love for dogs and a passion for giving them the care, exercise, attention, and adventures they deserve. After spending years professionally working with dogs, including experience with one of Australia’s leading dog walking companies, I decided to create something more personal, caring, and focused on the individual needs of every dog.
We are a small family-run business based on the Gold Coast, and to us, dogs are family. That means every walk is done with patience, care, safety, and genuine love for what we do.
Our goal is simple — to make dogs happy while giving owners peace of mind knowing their dogs are being cared for like one of our own.
We specialise in personalised adventure walks, beach adventures, social outings, and doggy daycare experiences designed to keep dogs healthy, stimulated, social, and fulfilled. We also offer a unique fresh-water rinse system in our fully air-conditioned van, helping dogs head home clean, comfortable, and happy after their adventures.
At Dogs Matter Gold Coast, we focus on building real relationships with every dog we walk. We take the time to understand their personalities, confidence levels, energy, and individual needs so they always feel safe, comfortable, and excited for their adventures.

While you may not see him out on the walks, he plays an incredibly important role behind the scenes helping keep the business running smoothly and supporting the growth of Dogs Matter Gold Coast every step of the way.
From helping guide the business side of things to believing in this dream from the very beginning, Dean has been a constant source of support, encouragement, and stability. Without him helping make this journey possible, Dogs Matter Gold Coast simply would not be here today.

Dogs have always been one of the biggest passions in my life, and creating Dogs Matter Gold Coast came from a genuine dream to build something personal, caring, and filled with heart.
After years of professionally working with dogs, including experience with one of Australia’s leading dog walking companies, I knew I wanted to create something different — a business where dogs are treated like family and cared for with patience, love, understanding, and genuine connection.
One of my favourite parts of this journey is building trust and real relationships with every dog I walk. Seeing their excitement when I arrive, watching their confidence grow, and knowing they feel safe and happy means absolutely everything to me.
Dogs Matter Gold Coast is more than just dog walking to me. It’s about creating a safe, loving, fun, and enriching experience for every dog while giving owners complete peace of mind knowing their dogs are truly cared for.
